The WV EMS-TSN, Inc., Huntington Field Office Region 2/3, will be administering the WV ALS Recertification Written and Practical Examinations every Monday.
Individuals need to allot at least 1 hour for both the written and practical examinations.
To schedule a date and time, please have the individual candidates contact Jim Donathan or Arisba Fink at 1-304-523-9102.
If your agency has a number of individuals who need to take the exam, please let us know and we will attempt to accommodate your request for an on-site examination.
If you are unsure whether a person is required to take these exams, please contact us and we will be more than happy to assist you in identifying the individual needs.

The written exam begins promptly at 9:00 AM, the practical exam setup is at 8:30, with testing after the written exam.
Seating is limited, and will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. If an adequate number of individuals do not sign up, any date may be cancelled. Contact the office to pre-register for the exam by calling 304-366-8764 or by emailing mmyers@wvemstsn.net

There will be two (2)
There will be two (2) paramedic recertification examinations held in Region 10/11 this year. The dates for these exams are as follows:
These are the only times Paramedic Recertification Examinations will be offered in this region prior to the end of this certification period! No tests will be given after September 30, 2012.
Practical examinations will consist of at least two (2) ALS Stations and one (1) Random Basic Skills Station, and will be evaluated using National Registry standards for EMT-P testing.
You do not have to complete your Continuing Education hours to test, but must do so prior to turning in your recertification packet. Remember, your recert packets are due in the Wheeling Field Office no later than October 1, 2012. Any packet received after that date may not be processed by OEMS in time for recertification.
Please call the Wheeling Field Office (233-4440) to schedule your test date. Mark the dates on your calendar! REMEMBER - NO MAKE UP EXAMS WILL BE GIVEN!
